Christine Hong of UC Santa Cruz and the Korea Policy Institute discusses the overlooked history behind U.S.-North Korea tensions and says the best hope for resolving them is a progressive government in South Korea willing to engage.

Democracy and Class Struggle says a Nuclear Freeze by North Korea in exchange for guarantees from China and Russia for North Korean territorial integrity and security is still a possiblity.

Given the history of Korea and North Korea in particular,  they will not give up Nuclear Weapons and should not do so under current global conditions.

The Korean People are not helpless they can vote a Government in South Korea on 9th May that wants to open dialogue with North Korea.

The People of Korea must take control of their destiny and take it out of foreign hands - especially that of USA.
