Vasanta Kumari - Saibaba's Wife

Saibaba and 5 colleagues and arrest of activists in Bhangar movement in West Bengal.

Qualitatively such a rally played a great role in ressurecting the democratic consciousness amongst the people when the country is gripped by the darkness of fascism.

The speakers and activists represented the Telengana Democratic Front, the Andhra Pradesh democratic front and the Coordination Commite of democratic rights organizations.who demanded the unconditional release of all politicalk prisoners.

Such an assembly continued the legacy of the civil liberties movement in Punjab and Andhra Pradesh or Telengana .It represented the face of the entire nation where the people are shackled by the forces of opression.Cultural programmes were also performed.

Such assemblies should take place all round the country, particularly in big urban cities and educate the workers, students and youth about the resurgence of fascism.A strong democratic rights movement is the need of the very hour independent of any political group.

The Peoples Union of Democratic Rights,Delhi played the major role in organizing this event which is am inspiration to the entire nation
